Woodlawn Diner in Buffalo

Very old school small diner that you just don't see anymore. I had a BLT and cup of chili which was good. Chili was a bit sweet not hot at all which is how I like it.If your looking for fancy this is not the place for you. If you want a good quick breakfast or lunch (closes at 2pm) at good prices you should stop here.

A no-nonsense, cash only diner. The prices are cheap and the food is delicious. Getting a breakfast here is always better than from a chain.

Great food...the BEST pies!This place is great for breakfast or lunch. It's a diner and the food is made right in front of you. All wonderful fresh ingredients. I have had breakfast and lunch there. When you get a sandwich you do not get deli meat you get meat that was sliced right there...wow...a lot of places do not do that anymore. The mashed potatoes are real not instant. Everything tastes wonderful and make sure you save room for pie. Literally the best pie I have ever eaten was from here.The atmosphere is also a ton of fun. Great little diner!I cannot say enough good things...if you are hungry do not drive past this place like I did for so many years. Make sure you stop and try it out. I know I will totally be going back.Also they have Monte Cristo sandwiches!

1. Food: Excellent. I'm from Louisiana; had never been here before so stopped for breakfast. It was fantastic. Great link sausage, raisin toast, grits and eggs. 2. Service: I went to park my car in a better place, went back in, food was ready. 3. Price: Best I've seen. People nice, too.

I got the 3 slices of french toast and some bacon. It was great! Prices are pretty good and I love the atmosphere inside. I'm attaching pictures of the current menu.

Any time I come home, the Woodlawn Diner is my first stop. Excellent food at a great price.

Friendly staff and good prices. I'm giving a pass to this establishment on a few things as this business has been at this location since the 50s. They are cash only, no credit or debit card, and the place is showing it's age. But I'll still give 5 stars because of it's age. It's worth it for the food and service.

Stopped in on Friday night for a fish fry. Place was cleaned food was excellent. I highly recommend this diner.

My West Coast family came to visit. We had brunch here. Great food at a great price. And the old timey Diner feel, with tableside jukeboxes for decorations. We took up two booths & the Staff interacted with us. There was laughter, awesome breakfast food, made a great memory!!! Missy cooked alot of food!

Went there for breakfast, everything was good. The place is a typical 1950's style diner, booths on one side, counter on the other, grill behind the counter. Breakfast was tasty, waitress was excellent, I was having flash-backs to my youth, good times!

Love this place for a quick breakfast or lunch. Home cooked feel. In and out around 30 minutes. Can also place orders for pick up. One of the last old fashion diners left.

Amazing food. One of the best places for breakfast in Western New York. Excellent corn beef hash and the jumbot is great too.
